All right, it's gotten even cuter up in here. Behold the Henry pic of the day! I don't know if you'll appreciate two cat posts in a row, readers, but I think such extreme cuteness can't go unblogged. (Plus I so enjoyed all your charming pet comments from yesterday that I just had to keep going with this theme.)
Once again I woke up to a sweet text from Jeff with a Henry photo so I could get my fix while I'm away from home. I thought yesterday's pic was the cutest ever, but I think maybe I was wrong. The composition of this one is quite striking--he looks like he's wandering through a field of wildflowers! (In reality, that is our duvet cover.) And the angelic look heaven-ward is practically heartbreaking. So I may have to revise my stance. THIS may, in fact, be the cutest Henry photo ever.
The thing about Henry, though, is that he's always got more cuteness up his sleeve. Hey, speaking of sleeves! Today was day two of filming my new Craftsy course and sleeves were a hot topic.
Here I am getting primped by my adorable make-up/hair artist, Danica.
The great news about the Craftsy course is that they've sped up the production times so the course will be available in a couple weeks! I will post the trailer here as soon as I have it.
In the meantime, feel free to vote on your favorite Henry photo. Today's or yesterday's?
Today! The colors and composition really are striking!
ReplyDeleteI vote today.
ReplyDeleteThe wildflowers really accentuate Henry's ridiculous cuteness!
agreed, today's photo wins because of the added awesomeness of your duvet cover! Henry is quite charming in both pics, it really is a toss up, but the beautiful floral fabric makes for an extra special shot.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I could ever tire of animal pics... :)
Really looking forward to your next course, and hoping it's a coat class!!
Absolutely, today's! I love your duvet cover, too. So cheery!
ReplyDeleteOh, definitely this one. That duvet is darling!
ReplyDeleteYesterday's!!
ReplyDeleteUmm...I think I love Henry!!! And there can never be enough cat posts. Especially with an adorable face like his.
ReplyDeleteI like today's photo best.
I didn't think it could get any cuter, but it did!
ReplyDeleteNext, Henry will be on teh front of cat food boxes!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, it's a really tough call! I think yesterday's wins out by a very slim margin only because of his darling expression. But the duvet cover pic is seriously cute, too!
ReplyDeleteI could never tire of cute kitty pics!
I like todays the best. I am not allowed to kiss the dogs on the mouth either. You know where those tongues have been, don't you?
ReplyDeleteuf, too much pressure...deciding on the cuteness factor of each photo ;-)
ReplyDeleteI tried to enlist the help of a professionsl, my cat Rufus, but he was mostly interested in a belly rub.
He's adorable regardless but definitely today's! I love the duvet cover - like you said, it looks like he's wandering through a field of flowers. Much love for our fur babies.
ReplyDeleteI'm still going with yesterday's! I think it's a classic portrait shot that will stand the test of time. Enjoy your filming! Oh, the glamour of having a make-up artist.
ReplyDeleteToday's! But it's a tough choice. By the way, did you know you can learn stuff AND donate to cats and dogs at freekibble.com ? (No, I don't work there, I just like being able to do nice stuff for free!)
ReplyDeleteThe wildflower picture - EXTREME cuteness!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't do cats (I know, I'm a minority in the sewing world it seems) but even I have to admit that Henry is ridiculously cute.
ReplyDeleteDogs on the other hand... After your greyhound pics of the other day, I spent an hour on YouTube looking wistfully at videos of other people's greys, wishing my husband wasn't asthmatic so that I could have one again (obviously I wish he wasn't asthmatic for his own sake too, but, you know...)!
I couldn't possibly choose. I got my first cat 5 years ago. Never had one as a child and I could never be without them now! Henry is such a charmer! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love today's best - very pretty! He is certainly a photogenic chap...
ReplyDeleteI think today's is even cuter if that's possible. Tell Jeff to kiss him on the mouth from me. I never get tired of cat photos either.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Nathalie in that I'm definitely a dog person (you're not alone, Nathalie!), but your cat photos are adorable. I might have to post some puppy photos to compete with all the cat photos!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others--today's is the cutest! And I just love your hair in that photo! I'm eagerly awaiting the craftsy course!! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI do agree that today's picture is wonderful. The duvet reminds me of vintage sheets, one of my all time favorite fabrics to re-use when I can find them.
ReplyDeleteI'm very excited about the next Craftsy course. Can't wait to hear more.
I love them both. Course I love cats! You are a doll too.
ReplyDeleteBut if I had to pick it would be the first one. He looks all cozy! Love him!
yikes...better hurry and get the bombshell dress craftsey class done, that I just enrolled in!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I can't decide which Henry photo is cutest. I think you'll have to post another one...
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous cat, he's beautiful! XxxX http://thesecondhandrose.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteYay Henry + beautiful fabric! Yay super-fast production schedule! I can't wait to see what you're making in the next course. I loved the first one!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to buck the system and say yesterday's! You can see more of his cute face ijustwanttoeathimup!
ReplyDeleteYou make me want to drive 3 hours to my in-law's and rub my face all over the kitteh(-in-law).
I think yesterday's is cuter - the lean, the wistful look in the eyes... Forget Maru, Henry needs his own calendar!
ReplyDeleteThere is a neighborhood kitty that belongs to a neighbor, but has recently adopted my family that is that same beautiful smokey color as Henry. Her name is Gia, and I adore her.
ReplyDeleteYou must inform us of where you got your duvet cover! Pretty please, with a cherry on top? It just seems like you could never have a bad day waking up to that kitty and that duvet cover. So much happy in one place.
"I don't know if you'll appreciate two cat posts in a row, readers..." Actually, I don't. I have really limited time to read through my blogs in the morning, and getting something that's not contentful is such a tease, and a waste of the little time I do have. If you make more posts like this, I wish you would mark them with something like "no actual sewing content" in the post title, so I know I can safely pass them by.
ReplyDeleteI like the new one of him tip toeing thru the tulips.
ReplyDeleteI like today's Henry photo! Your duvet is awesome! So sweet of Jeff to take pictures of your kitty so you won't be as lonely so far away.
ReplyDeleteSO looking forward to meeting you and saying "howdy" at the Sewing Expo in Puyallup in March!
Oh, Henry! So Cute! I just can't decide which I like best.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing the topic of the next class. You're amazing!
Yesterday's was sooooo cute.
ReplyDeleteToday's is really neat.
Today! Both are adorable though. He could be on the cover of Cat Fancy. I see this magazine at my vets and crack up every time.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that today's is the cutest - he definitely looks like he is frolicking in a field of wildflowers!
ReplyDeleteWell yesterdays and you should know that today he is sassing out his new sleeping area and partner. watch out that's a designing cat!
ReplyDeleteNo, no, neither... I love the old one, when he was holded in your arms...
ReplyDeleteToday's! He's such a poser...
ReplyDeleteCat's are the future, haven't you heard? :) Check out "catvertising" on youtube. I vote for today's photo!
ReplyDeleteCat's are the future, haven't you heard? :) Check out "catvertising" on youtube. I vote for today's photo!
ReplyDeletehaha too cute!
ReplyDeleteI vote today. Hernry is so cute. We don't have our own cat, but have a neighbourhood cat who loves us and comes and goes. This morning he came down the stairs and left, we didn't know he was here. I believe the cat who has adopted us would also vote for today.
ReplyDeletetoday's pic of Henry is my fave....Did you know that you can put him on his very own wine label? I did this for my pup. Ridiculous, but fun!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.adogslife.net/index.php?cPath=14
o mine, can`t wait for new course to appear
ReplyDeleteI hope it will be that yellow dress or green skirt, I love them a lot
Henry is such a sweet cat - is he as well behaved as his pose would suggest? I like the duvet pic as it brings out his cuteness but the original shows more of his fuzzy little face.
ReplyDeleteCould Henry have a word with my cat, Norah? She's a tortie, and recently is going through some anger issues and taking them out on me. When she's not yelling at me, she's sitting on me with one paw on my shoulder, looking deeply into my eyes - and glaring! What have I done!
ReplyDeleteAlso... I sat down to a sewing machine for the first time since I was 14. Let's just say that's *about* 20 years ago! I'm halfway through an apron and a circle skirt. WOOT!
Today's is stunning!
ReplyDeleteYesterday's! The expression says, "Pet me!" :) I look forward to your course.
ReplyDeleteYOU are adorable, and so is your cat!
ReplyDeleteDo you know about Kittenwars.com?
User beware! You may get distracted !
Yesterday's is my favorite based on that adorable expression. Cats do have the most wonderful way of communicating with us.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely today's. Cutest photo ever. Gotta love the kitties. Hope the filming goes well. Looking forward to the next course. I loved the first one. :)
ReplyDeleteKeep those Henry pictures coming!!! I understand, have 3 myself... Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteToday's photo is so cute- the flowers are cute and the look on his face. Priceless.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely he is very striking today but let's face it he is one good looking cat no matter which way the camera shot is!...says bronnie u
ReplyDeleteoh, but it's like he's been accessorized. gotta be today's.
ReplyDeleteOh I love your kitty. The duvet cover is great also.
ReplyDeleteIf you have time to visit my blog at www.bzstampr.blogspot.com you can see more cuteness of my kitty. She showed up in July hiding in the motor of our cars. She was 4 weeks old and very sick. The shelter wouldn't take her so we added her to our home. She is so special to us and we also have another kitty who was a rescue also. Both of our cats are special to us.
Thanks for sharing. I love both pictures of your cat.
Debbie
It's hard to say which photo is cuter, because they each show a different side of Henry - One is pensive and serious, one is sheer joy. I know I sound like a crazy cat lady, but Henry is just such a handsome little fellow!
ReplyDeleteI love your Henry. I love his sweet, earnest, little face.
