I have recently made 3 pair of flannel jammies, none with sock monkeys. They frighten me. Really. Can't look at them. On the other hand you in your jammies and the sleeping kitty are precious. Our big kitty, Simon Templer Wheelwell, sleeps at my husband's feet or in the crook of my knees either on top or under the covers, however he wishes. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your husband and the kitty of course.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving (despite never having celebrated it seeing as I'm Australian and in Australia!) "I'm thankful that modern medicine was able to cure my 18.5 year old cat of high blood pressure so that she can continue to pester me several times every night to cuddle up under the covers with me and purr like a tractor".... unfortunately I don't have a husband who can capture this on film as well as yours! Have a happy holiday!
Happy Thanksgiving! I have the same jammies, and my boyfriend's sister, in town for the holiday, has the pink ones, so we've been sock monkeying it up!
I grew up with a cat who would sleep that way. He enjoyed nothing more than to suck on my earlobe with his raspy tongue... I could last about 5 - 10 seconds before it became absolutely unbearable. If an interrogator ever wanted to make me talk - albeit in a humane, painless way - I'm fairly sure that would work... That cat also enjoyed ambushing me, leaping out at me, digging his claws in and darting off again. Ah, the fun...
I'm trying to think how to segue from cats to thanksgiving to dresses made from spring onions ... but you might like a little browse at this site between eating and washing-up :)
What a sweet boy! I'm going to show this to my feline, maybe he'll get the hint. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteEvery woman should look this pretty in a picture taken by her husband. Happy Thanksgiving Gertie!

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like the unconditional love of a pet! I am blessed with an English Bulldog who likes to share my pillow and blankets with me! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the Sock Monkey Jammies...nothing like curling up with ones' pet and having a good snooze.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a wonderful picture. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
